A short lead helps keep your dog at bay from pesky birds and ground-nesting farm animals. A small lead should be used around the berries. But if cattle approach you, it’s best to let your dog off the lead and call him when it’s safe.

Our Partnership With Forthglade

Always clean up after your dog. If you can’t find a bin near you, take poo bags home.

Pay attention to local signs and notices wherever you go. They’ll tell you if the beach is off-leash, for example, if the track is diverted or if you’re in an area where dogs can run off-leash.

Remember that not everyone likes dogs and some people are afraid of them. So make sure your dog does not go up against other people, especially children.

We’ve teamed up with Forthglade to create a new paw rating system that shows the facilities at the places we care for your dog.
