A little over 3 miles along the coast, the Braunton Burroughs dune system is right on our doorstep, offering long walks and some stunning views. Braunton Burroughs is the UK’s second largest sand dune and a designated UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in the heart of the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Located on a year-round dog-friendly beach, our award-winning dog-friendly villas are a haven for dogs and their owners. Each villa has its own fenced garden, allowing your dog to roam freely (and smell the bunny!). Our outdoor showers are ideal for rinsing off sand and water after a walk on the beach or from the hole (they’re also great for washing clothes!).
Our beach villas provide stylish and comfortable accommodation for families, couples, groups of friends and their dogs. All villas are fully equipped for a self-catering beach holiday in Devon
For furniture, we provide blankets to protect sofas and soft furnishings. If your furry friend enjoys cuddling up on the couch, or if you think you might need more, please Bring Add furniture to ensure all furniture is secure. The villa has hard floors that can be swept and mopped – no carpets here!
Dog kennels with vet beds are available upon request, saving you space in the car for everything. Upon arrival, our guests are treated to a puppy box, with a variety of treats, including a unique Saunton Beach Villas dog or pride dress. We do not charge a dog fee per night – the £40 dog fee covers all your dogs for the duration of your stay.

All our villas are pet friendly, with no dog restrictions, however we recommend booking a larger villa if you are bringing 4 or more dogs. For example, if you have 4 people and 5 dogs, you may be more comfortable sleeping in 6 beds instead of 4. This is not a booking request, we just want to give advice so you all feel comfortable!
We have dog groups, such as our agility group, with us regularly because they can be together without having to worry about the dog zone. We often hear from families who haven’t gone on holiday in years because they couldn’t find a place to suit all their dogs, we’re delighted to be able to help groups such as vacations together.

Yes, each villa has a private garden – fenced about 4ft high and ‘hit’ style. Please let us know if you need a fence height for the villa. In the garden you’ll find an outdoor shower, perfect for washing off sand and puddles after a long walk on the beach or cooling off your dog in the hot water. day!
If you have a dog, they will benefit from its quiet location, please contact us and we will be happy to show you the right villa for you.
We do not prevent our guests from leaving their dogs in the villa if they need to leave. However, please exercise responsible ownership and do not leave your dog alone for long periods of time or if the villa is too hot. We also ask that you respect your neighbors and if you know there will be noise when you leave.
This place is beautiful, clean and tidy. All principles worked out We booked a four day holiday mid summer and had a great time – would definitely recommend to anyone looking for the Good Model with no frills.

I just returned from a 4 day holiday at Saunton Beach Villas in D Dunes with my young son and our beloved dog Bea 🙂 It had everything we needed, great location and the possibility of reopening closed area again. garden It was perfect We walked the beach a lot and the food at the beach grill was delicious Tip – Get Tesco delivered to your door!
If you have a dog, this is the place to go. I did nothing wrong and will definitely come back.

We love the beach at Saunton Beach, the bungalows are perfect for a working vacation. Always have extra money, we can bring fried fish to your friends
We spent 3 nights at Saunton and were very satisfied. The accommodation was clean and nice. You have to bring your own towels, but in the brochure they tell you that the place is bright, close to the beach.
Really enjoyed our stay here, the dog walked a lot. Staff were also very helpful
