Burlington, Vermont is one of the most dog-friendly places in New England. With amazing outdoor activities and a hip, cool city, Burlington is a playground for dogs and companions. You will find many fun things to do with your dog. Bike the Burlington Greenway along Lake Champlain and sample local beer at one of the city’s many dog-friendly breweries. Breweries in Burlington that allow dogs on their patios include Foam Brewers and Zero Gravity Craft Brewery. Even places like Switchback Brewing Company allow dogs inside. One of New England’s most popular pedestrian (and pup) friendly neighborhoods, the Church Street Market area is full of dog-friendly restaurants and shopping.
