Located on the shores of Lake Champlain, Basin Harbor believes that a family vacation isn’t complete without four-legged family members. Their pet policy allows well-behaved dogs of any size in their kennels for a daily fee of $20 per pet. You can choose any of the cottages to book online and then pay the pet fee.

This resort has everything you need for the perfect vacation without ever leaving 700 hectares. Choose from a variety of fun activities for the whole family, from the countryside to the lake. The guest pool and water park are pet-free, but dogs have their own swimming area, Fanny’s Beach. We were even able to rent a sailboat to go out on Lake Roscoe. In addition, you can eat at one of the five restaurants of the resort. Dogs are not allowed in the dining room, but you can eat with Red Mill in the common outdoor seating area. Dog walking and sitting services are also available if you want to have some fun without Fido.

Field Guide Lodge in Stowe is a beautiful boutique hotel from Lark Hotels. Like most of their properties, their pet policy allows dogs under 70 pounds for an additional $50 per dog per day. We stayed in one of three dog-friendly houses, which have a good location and a private space. You can order these rooms online, just make sure to include a note about your dog’s number, size and name when checking out. Dogs cannot be left alone in the living room. Out of respect for other guests, dogs are allowed off-leash on balconies and outside common areas of the hotel.
This hotel stands out for its beautiful decor. The living room, comfortably furnished with a wood stove and soft rugs, invites you to spend a long time with a book or a table. You can have breakfast at the coffee bar in the lobby, or have drinks and snacks at the new Vintage ski area with Après Only bar. You have to pre-install the hot tub outside, which is a bit of a hassle. But the advantage is that you are guaranteed to own it. And the place can’t be beat. We could walk in the middle and the mountain car stopped in front of the hotel. It’s the perfect base for you and your baby in Vermont.
Vermont Pet Friendly Lodging Paw House Inn Rutland Vt Pet Hotel Killington Okemo
Mountain View Farm Inn is a unique place to stay in the heart of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. According to their pet policy, dogs are allowed for an additional $50 per night in select rooms in Peacham, Danville, NY Danville, Maidstone and Lost Nation. You can choose the pet-friendly option to book your room online. The property is very pet friendly with a friendly golden retriever working at reception and there is even a pet shelter on site. Be careful if your dog reacts to other animals.
We stayed in the Peacham Deluxe Room which was homey but comfortable. Roscoe especially loved sleeping in front of the crackling wood stove. In the morning we were welcomed in the main building of the hotel with baked goods and coffee. When we thought we couldn’t get another bite, the owner of the hotel brought out a piece of wood that he was famous for spitting in the garden. – fresh blueberries. we couldn’t resist.
This historic 400-acre park in an unspoiled area in the Northeast Kingdom is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. On top of the mountains, early morning mist settles in the valley.
The Kimpton Taconic in Manchester has one of the strictest hotel pet policies I’ve ever come across. All are welcome, from fur to feathers, as long as they fit the lift. There are no restrictions on the size, weight, breed or number of pets, and there are no deposits or surcharges. Simply filter by pet when ordering online and fill out the pet form at checkout.
Favorite Dog Friendly Hotels In New England
Kimpton Taconic is truly the best place to take care of your wallet. Rooms are equipped with food containers, toys, treats and a soft bed for the dog. (The Orvis store down the road is a must visit with your dog). Dogs are allowed in the hotel’s Copper Grouse restaurant and front dining area. During cooler seasons, they have outdoor heaters to ensure you and your child stay warm. In addition, you can request pet services, including but not limited to pet sitting, dog walking and spa services, by contacting the front desk.
Made Inn Vermont in downtown Burlington is a home away from home for you and your pets. The city’s luxury bed and breakfast policy welcomes well-behaved furry friends for $25 per pet per day. You can book directly on the Internet, just make sure to add your dog to the number of guests and add the details in the notes.
We stayed in room 904, one of the larger rooms recommended for large dogs. Also, it was comfortable for Roscoe and the bathrooms are down the hall (although at least they are private). The wonderful nature of the hotel may not be for everyone, but it is in a great location within walking distance of the city. The owner is very friendly and will readily make recommendations for pet friendly restaurants and things to do in Burlington.
Located between Killington and Rutland in central Vermont, Mountain Top Resort is not only dog-friendly, it’s dog-first. Their pet policy stipulates that canine friends are welcome at the resort’s four king-size bedrooms and a selection of Vermont kibble, dog beds and guest bowls. maximum of two dogs per unit.
